The Voss CZone takes its name from the Eldorado of adventure in Vestland in Norway and is a handy mitten for the entire mountain. Sewn in hardwearing, treated goatskin leather and polyester fabric, with a waterproof, breathable CZone membrane. The microfleece liner is comfortable against the skin, and the synthetic insulation adds warmth and wicks away moisture. The design is clean with few but functional details. For example, the width around the wrist is adjustable with a paracord and a wrist strap keeps the glove safe when you take it off to adjust equipment. An exclusive, handsewn glove that can be tightened around the wrist with a strap. Made in carpincho nubuck, a soft, beautiful leather with an unmistakable “speckled” texture. The carpincho, also known as the capybara, is a rodent that lives in the plains of South America. Among glove cutters, the leather is seen as one of the finest in the world, with similar characteristics as peccary. It is surprisingly soft to wear, while also being strong and durable. This glove uses nubuck where the tanned surface is polished to produce a texture resembling suede. Each glove is cut by hand by skilled glove cutters in Budapest. Their sense for the material is unique and their craftsmanship utterly superb, producing a glove with fantastic fit and suppleness. The inside is lined with cashmere for a warming, soft, luxurious feel. Winston Carpincho is the personal favourite model of master glove cutter Niklas Magnusson, the fourth generation in the Hestra family business. Das Ergebnis der Zusammenarbeit ist dieser wunderschöne Handschuh aus Peccary – ein kurzes Modell mit einer am Handrücken leicht nach oben geschwungenen Kante, um einer Uhr am Handgelenk Platz zu bieten. Der Handschuh wurde von Hestras geschickten Handschuhmachern in Ungarn von Hand aus einem Stück Leder zugeschnitten. Nur wenige Menschen auf der Welt beherrschen dieses Handwerk wie sie, und jedes Handschuhpaar, das ihr Atelier verlässt, ist einzigartig. Für dieses Modell wird Peccary verwendet, ein Wildschweinleder aus Südamerika, das für Handschuhe ideal ist: robust, weich, wärmend und unglaublich elastisch.
